I met Bu in a rainy summer in Berlin. A young, queer dancer researching postwar environmental disasters on the side. They quickly seduced me to play as I was mesmerized by their zero-fucks-given attitude and a sense for trashy fashion. 

In our shared fantasies, they soon became my beautiful baby boi and I their daddy-always-knows-best. 

What might touch me the most about our power dynamic is their internal conflict of wanting to serve while maintaining autonomy. The more they trust me, the more they can give themselves over. And that’s our delicate dance.

So, as a long season of teaching at festivals and retreats was coming to an end, we rented a velvety blue room with a ceiling mirror at Hotel Provocateur off Kurfürstendamm. To celebrate daddy, boi dressed in their new latex lingerie. 

As so often, my Leica Q2 Monochrome accompanied us during the play. Allowing for an intimate glimpse into something both very private and undeniably taboo. The hierarchy between artist and model dissolved in the mutual and consensual play.
